Two for One

Weeks 9 and 10 have come and gone. I missed blogging last week end due to our busy schedule. I'm currently on day 2 of week 11.

Not much has changed since I last wrote. I haven't had any new doctor's appointments or any crazy developments. We're still battling over boy names, I'm still feeling tired, and we're still very excited to bring Baby Vanderwall home in a few months.

There have been a few mornings over the past couple of weeks that I've felt a little queasy upon waking up. It never lasts too long, especially if I force myself to eat. The only thing that I really hate about this is that brushing my teeth, whether I'm feeling queasy or not, makes me throw up. It doesn't happen every morning, and it never happens in the afternoon or evening, but it's happened several times. It is a vicious cycle! All I want to do after throwing up is brush my teeth, but, well, you can guess what happens if I do...I've been chewing a fair amount of gum lately.

My birthday was the 18th of this month. I asked for baby stuff and I got a lot of it! The baby and I really made out like bandits. The picture shows a few of the things we received. I was given a Bellaband, some maternity clothes, and a gift card to Moxie! Yay! I also got a few other non-baby related gifts that are fun. The baby received toys, a rubber ducky that tells us if their bath water is too hot, some clothes and shoes, bibs, towels, washcloths, a bathrobe, and a book.

According to babycenter.com, our little one is now just over 1 1/2 inches big; about the size of a fig. Baby Vanderwall is almost fully formed now, and is moving like crazy.

It is amazing to see how much changes in just one short week in the life of this precious little one who's mommy and daddy already love them more than words can describe!
