Ba-Bye Second Trimester

Dear Noah,

We are almost 2/3 done with our waiting game. We get more excited with each passing day, knowing that you will soon be here!

Lately, we have been putting a lot of thought into how your nursery will look. My cousin, Reba, is working on 3 robot paintings that will hang above your crib. Auntie Kristi's best friend, Emma, is working on another painting as well. Daddy and I are probably going to paint one more wall a solid green color, and then we are going to paint a bunch of gears on the last wall. I've been searching for the perfect bedding and we are still looking for a rocking chair. Your Grandma has been looking for a dresser that we can use as a changing table. (It's really handy that you have grandparents who own a bedroom furniture store)! Things are really starting to come together. I cannot wait until we have the finished product. I'll have to post lots of pictures once we reach that point.

Not only is it very handy to have grandparents who own a bedroom furniture store, but it is always wonderful that you have an auntie who works at The Children's Place. We've been collecting lots of clothes for you. Lats week end I picked out your coming-home-from-the-hospital-outfit. (Actually, Auntie Kendra picked it out. I just went and picked it up). It is pretty cute! I think you're going to be the best dressed baby in town.

You and I head back to the doctor on Tuesday. This is our last appointment before the doctor starts to see us on a biweekly basis. During our next visit we will be given a schedule for birthing classes. It is so crazy to me to think that we've already reached this point!

Every day I wonder more and more what you're going to look like. I imagine you having your Daddy's curly blond hair. I am almost positive you'll have blue eyes since both your Daddy and I do. I really hope you get your Daddy's complexion. I am already convinced that you'll be a very handsome baby. I just really look forward to the day when we'll get to look at you and see that you have my eyes, your Daddy's nose, etc. It is going to be so fun to meet you!

We love you little buddy! Only a few more weeks until we get to hold you!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
