Well, Mama and Daddy say I talk A LOT, but the funny thing is I don't feel like I can get a word in edgewise. So, I decided to take over my blog this month. After all, 21 months is a pretty decent age to get published, right?
Everything is always busy at our house. Mama has a lot of work and homework to do. She's gone a lot in the mornings. It's okay though cuz I just hang out with Daddy. We're pretty good buds. We always play video games, legos, and cars together. I'm also very persuasive when it comes to talking Daddy into reading me books. He's a good reader.
Me and Mama get our play time in while Daddy goes to the gym. We also play a lot after dinner. I love to sit on Mama's lap. I'll sit there for a long time just playing a game or reading a story.
We got to go to McCall for my Nana's birthday a couple week ends ago. We got to stay for 3 sleeps. It was very fun. We went swimming, sledding, to the Pancake House, and played lots of fun games. We also got to watch the Seahawks play the Niners. I love the Seahawks. Just ask me about them and I'll give you my standard fist-pump into the air accompanied by a "Yeah!" I dislike the Niners as much as I love the Seahawks. If you so much as utter the word "Niners" around me I'll make my "yuck" noise. Daddy is so proud when I do that.
The newest thing at our house is that Mama and Daddy keep telling me that I have a baby brother or sister coming (they found out on Jan. 15). I'm not sure what that means, but I am enthralled with the word baby and I do know what babies look like. I mean, obviously, I say "bay-beeee" every time I see one. Mama and Daddy keep telling me to practice saying the names they have picked out. I can say the girl name quite well, but the boy name is a different story. If you want to know what they are, you'll have to keep reading all these blog posts...Mama says I'm not allowed to tell.
Mama and Daddy also keep saying I have to wait until September to meet this bay-beee. I don't know when that is, but it seems like a long ways away. Oh well, maybe I'll be really good at saying the bay-bee's name by the time they get here.
I'm sure there will be plenty of time to talk about the bay-bee later....back to me now. I have lots of words and phrases I can say. Things like: socks and shoes, no, no Momo (that's my Nana and Papa's dog), all clean, happy birthday, yes please, Noah baby, and many, many single words. I love to talk. I also love taking walks outside (as long as I get to wear my favorite thing: my hat!), especially if Mama and Daddy let me walk all by myself. I guess my stroller is okay too, but it isn't as fun. Another thing I like is to try my hand at Fruit Ninja on Mama's kindle whenever she lets me. I'm actually pretty good at it.
Mama and Daddy are always calling me a neat freak. I just think they should be thankful for having a toddler who picks up after himself without being asked and who likes to help clean the house. Doing chores isn't all that bad...I don't know what big people have to complain about. The laundry and the dishes are some of my favorite household duties.
I'm a pretty happy guy. Life is pretty good. I don't usually find much to complain about, especially if I can be independent and with all the people I love, which is a lot. Mama says it is time to help make dinner so I better go. One last thing...to the bay-beeee: I love you!
Love this! Noah is growing up so fast... He is going to be an adorable big brother :)
