22 Months!

Little Buddy,
Doing something you absolutely love - reading!

Helping Mommy bake no-bakes for Bible Study...apparently you wanted A LOT of vanilla in them

Appreciating the fact that we've been seeing lots of sunny days lately

Mommy's a little late in posting your 22 month post because our week end was jam-packed! It never seems to fail that our schedule is constantly full.

Your vocabulary must have tripled in size in the last few weeks. Pretty soon you will be speaking in full sentences. Well, you already do, but we can't always understand every word. You certainly know how to communicate though. It is rare that we are left wondering what you want or or what you're thinking.I almost fear the day when you are talking in complete, understandable sentences. I have this feeling that once you start, you may never be quiet.

Everywhere we go someone tells us that you are your Daddy's mini-me. It is so true! You look like him, you have many of his mannerisms, and your little personality contains a lot of traits similar to that of Daddy's. You two are best buds!

It seems you've hit a growth spurt. All of your pants are suddenly too short. The trouble is, you really aren't ready to move into the next size as far as your waist is concerned. So, I guess you either get to wear high-waters for a bit or wear pants that are constantly falling down.

Quite the little monkey you've become, really just in the past few days. You are now climbing a lot of things successfully. It is a little scary. You love to climb on the futon in the office and walk around on it. Climbing the ottoman and then doing a front flip off of it onto the couch is also another fun thing you've discovered. Oh my.

The outdoors have become your little sanctuary lately. Well, a sanctuary if you can consider any place full of noise and energy to be a sanctuary. You constantly ask to go out and play and you've even made friends with the neighbor kids. You love to peek at each other through the fence and even pass snacks back and forth when you're able. I'm sure you'll be ringing each other's doorbells asking to play before too much more time passes.

Playing minion rush on Mommy's phone is another favorite of yours. "Minion, minion, minion," you request over and over again.

It is so fun to watch you continue to grow into the person that God intends for you to be. You are so entertaining and are constantly putting a smile on our faces. Daddy and I would be lost without you. We love you more than anything!
