I decided that I would make this post mostly videos. Daddy has captured several of your new developments on camera, such as: jabbering, (not too new, but you're doing it a lot more now), rolling over from tummy to back, and laughing. I know we'll enjoy watching these over and over again as you continue to grow. I thought this would be a great way to show off your newest abilities and to archive these videos.
We were trying to capture the sound of your most adorable laugh in this video. You are a little ham, but as soon as the camera starts you immediately become very stone-faced. We tried to take this video without you noticing the camera, (hence the absence of a picture), but you still didn't laugh as much as you had been when the camera was off.
Here is a video of you talking to yourself and your toys. I love listening to your little voice. It is so sweet and, usually, so quiet.
You are getting very good at rolling over from your tummy to your back, as this video displays. You have rolled from your back to your tummy, but have only done it once, (actually before you rolled from your tummy to your back), and can't quite seem to get there again. You try awfully hard, but can't get off your side.
There is one new development of yours that we don't have on video and that is teething. You have not yet hit the fussy, feverish stage. However, you are very much in the everything-goes-in-my-mouth-drool-and-spit-constantly stage. Before long those teeth will be popping through those gums. We'll be sure to have some teething tablets and frozen bagels on hand for such an occasion as this.
I am glad I am finally getting this post completed. Blogspot was being difficult, thus you are now almost 5.5 months. At least this made it up before your 6 month post :)
