11 Months! (Plus a little)

Dear Noah Baby,

I am a little late getting to your 11 month update because we were on vacation when you hit 11 months.

I can't believe how much you have changed in the past few weeks. You are suddenly able to do so many things you couldn't do before. You are starting to look more like a toddler than a baby. This makes Mommy a little sad, but I still say your the cutest thing around :)

Six teeth now occupy your mouth, with more on the way. You are crawling like a madman, in a bit of a nontraditional fashion, but you definitely get where you want to go. Your giggle has turned into more of a laugh. Occasionally you even give us a big belly laugh and it is so contagious! You still love carrots and reading books. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous and you have really enjoyed being outside, (this is nothing new though, you've loved the outdoors since you were only a couple months old). Words you say often are: mama, baba, (not referring to a bottle, it is just something you say a lot while talking to yourself), bob, (we have no idea who bob is), and, just recently, if you drop something you have started imitating the "uh-oh," though yours sounds more like "uh."

This month, your blog is going to be chock-full of photos and videos. What better way to convey all your new developments and know-hows?!

This picture shows off some of your little teeth. It also shows how enthusiastic you get when eating carrots; so enthusiastic that you head-butt the spoon from time to time!

You LOVE to stand up in your car seat. Even better than standing up is standing up, facing the wrong way, trying to climb the thing.

Happy first Easter! Jesus is risen!

Reading Muddy Trucks, another favorite bedtime story.

Enjoying vacation at Convention with Auntie Kristi.

Noah with Mommy, Grandpa, and Grandma in front of an old farm house that Great Grandpa Little used to live in, (Dundee, OR)

Sitting with your chubby little feet crossed, something you do often.
Celebrating Easter with Grandma Larson.

This is one of the very first times you tried to crawl, (around 10 months). You mostly used your face. We were a little afraid of the rug burn that was going to ensue.

This is a more recent video of you crawling. You still kind of "swim" when you crawl, but you now know how to get up on your hands and knees and crawl that way, when you feel like it.

This video uploaded sideways, but I decided to put it on our blog anyway. This is the first time you went down a slide. It was on Easter at Grandma Larson's house.

This is an old video, but I thought it was so cute and it shows off your ability to say, "Mama," which makes Daddy a little jealous ;)

We have a couple videos of you dancing and they definitely need to be archived! Now, anytime you hear music with any sort of a beat you get a big smile on your face and start doing your little jig.

Thank you for being the blessing that you are to Mommy and Daddy! You are the light of our lives and we wouldn't know what to do without you. Keep being yourself!
