Yes! We got to find out that we are expecting a girl about a week and a half ago. We are so thrilled to welcome you into our family. All 3 of us love you so much already.
The results from your ultrasound looked great and we are still on track for your September 22 due date. You're due on a Monday and I'm really hoping I feel good enough to work up until the Friday before you come as I want as much of my maternity leave as possible to take place after you are here.
In some ways, it feels like I've been pregnant forever!! (Actually, most ways). There are parts of me, however, that can't believe I'm nearly half way done. I know that you will be here before we know it because of my 3rd trimester being in the summer - summer always goes by so fast.
I've been thinking about your nursery a lot lately. Pinterest is a wonderful thing :) I didn't even use it for your brother, but I've been using it a lot more lately and I've found lots of great ideas on there already. The theme for your nursery is going to be owls and the color scheme is going to be gray, mustard yellow, white, and mint green. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it is all done!
I've been feeling pretty good lately. Most days I feel pretty energetic, but on the days I feel extra tired I can't even get through without a nap. Thank goodness those days are few and far between. Also, thank goodness that your Daddy is so sweet to me and always lets me squeeze a nap in on those rough days.
We go back to see Dr. Davidson again in about a week and a half. I hate going to the doctor, but I love going when I'm pregnant. Getting to hear your little heartbeat is the best! Daddy missed our last appointment so I'm sure he will be anxious to listen to you.
My blood pressures continue to look great! We are continuing to trust God to keep it this way until 40 weeks. We know that, no matter what, He will be faithful to see our family through. He is so sovereign and so gracious. All we need is Him!
Keep growing, sweet baby. We can't wait to meet you in about 21 weeks!
