I'm Thankful for Our Baby

This week flew by! I guess that's what happens when you get to have a week off work and you are getting ready to host Thanksgiving for 30ish people. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and the baby has decided it would be ok to share my energy with me again, so things went off without a hitch! We're currently on day 2 of week 15.

I was reading today that some women are able to find out the gender of their baby as early as 15 weeks. However, we're going to wait until I'm about 20 weeks because of the holidays and the traveling we'll be doing, etc. I must say, I cannot wait until we know!

I did buy several new outfits yesterday because the Children's Place (where my sister works), was having an insane sale! I got so many things for $1-$3. I just bought for both genders and figure that whatever we don't use now, we'll probably use later. Either that, or I'll have some great baby shower gifts on hand.

I can't even begin to explain how good I've been feeling lately. Really, I can't complain because this pregnancy has been pretty easy all around, but I have been feeling extra swell for the last couple of weeks and I am just enjoying life because of it.

Coming up in the next couple of weeks, (maybe as soon as this week or next), I will be able to feel the baby move. That will be so exciting! I know he or she is already going crazy in there, but it will be so fun when we get to feel the results of their acrobatics.

Sam and I are both looking forward to all the changes that are soon to come our way. We've got our ideas for the nursery, have already started stocking up on diapers, wipes, bath things, etc., and have been praying daily for the life of our precious little one. We also pray that the Lord will impart His wisdom in our lives so that we will be the best parents that we know how.
