Dear Noah Baby,
Oh my goodness! Two months already! Your Daddy was just commenting today that he wishes he could slow life down because you are already growing up way too fast and he would like you to stay a baby for a long time.
You do many things, on a daily basis, to remind us that you are constantly growing, developing, and changing. Just the other day you were laying on your Daddy's chest and you propped yourself up on your elbows and started making kicking motions with your feet. You weren't able to move yourself, but you were certainly trying. You haven't tried again, but I have a feeling that you're going to be very mobile at a very early age. You also have figured out that you can stand up and you love doing that, almost as much as you love to hold up your head. The days of holding you in an upright position and having you rest your head on our shoulders are long gone. Showing the world how strong your neck muscles are is now far more exciting than cuddling.

Speaking of getting bigger, you have been to the doctor 2 times in this past month and you've changed considerably since your one month visit. At 6 weeks you went in to get your immunizations. You received 3 shots and a total of 5 vaccines. (The doctor told us that even though it is standard for babies to be vaccinated at 8 weeks, it is safe for them to receive all their immunizations at 6 weeks. Whooping cough has been going around so we opted to have your vaccines done at 6 weeks instead of 8). You were very brave and hardly cried at all. At that point, you weighed 8 lb. 15.5 oz.
We also saw the doctor today for your 2 month wellness check. You are developing beautifully and are a normal, healthy baby! You now weigh 9 lb. 15 oz. and are 22.5" long. Your weight is in the 7th percentile, up from the 4th, your height is in the 11th percentile, up from the 7th, and your head is in the 65th percentile, up from the 20th. Haha! However, just as Dr. Davidson said, you would never know it by looking at you because you look very well-proportioned.
Hair is not a department in which you're lacking. It never fell out after birth and has only continued to get thicker. Some days it looks brownish and other times it looks blond. Every once in awhile, though rarely, you can see a hint of red in it. I think it is going to end up being very much like your Daddy's. When its wet it even gets curly. Yay! Another trait you have that belongs to your Daddy are your blue eyes. Well, actually, you get that from both your parents, but yours are a little darker than mine and closer to the shade of your Daddy's.
Some of your new interests include jabbering to yourself, smiling A LOT, taking tubbies, (you used to cry when you took a bath. Now, you cry when we take you out of the bath), laying flat on your back on the floor, "watching" tv, (you love all the sounds and movements. Sports seem to be your favorite), and swinging. You also like to be on the go. Your car seat is something you love, thankfully, and you're really easy to tote around town.

This month was an incredibly eventful one. You had your third baby shower, (first baby shower was given by Mommy's coworkers, second one by Church, and third one by family). Other celebrations included: Daddy's birthday, Uncle Aaron's birthday, Auntie Kristi's birthday, and Father's Day. You also went to the mountains to see a live production of "Cinderella" in an outdoor theater. The Vanderwall Family came out from Seattle at the beginning of the month to meet you and spend a week end bonding. It was a fun and busy month!

You know something, neither your Daddy nor I have ever been good at taking pictures. Neither of us really enjoy it and we're terrible at remembering to take our camera with us and/or use it. However, ever since you've come into our lives we are constantly snapping photos. We just can't help ourselves - you're just too cute! Here are a few photos that we took just for fun. Happy 2 months, sweet boy! Mommy and Daddy love you and are so excited for the many months to come!
