Chloe Girl - 5 months (almost)

Chloe Girl -
Oh my goodness! 5 months in 2 days! Wow! Where has the time gone? I have no idea!

You are such a sweet, easy-going baby. We can take you anywhere and you do wonderfully. The only times you cry are when you're tired, hungry, or want your diaper changed. There are days when you're content to lay on the floor or in your bouncy seat for hours on end.

Noah and your Daddy are your most favorite people ever! No matter what, you always have a smile and a giggle for them. Noah is the only one who can really get you laughing so far. You love his antics and how animated he gets when he plays with you. You will turn your head at the most awkward angles just so you never have to lose sight of where he is in the room.

You had your 4 month appointment a couple of weeks ago. You weighed 14 lb. 2.5 oz, you measured 24.5 inches long, and your head was 17 in. in circumference. Your head, like your brother's, is in the 90-something percentile. Your weight and height are both around the 50th.

You started teething at about 3.5 months - much earlier than your brother who didn't get his first tooth until 7 months. You've been working on 2 teeth since 3.5 months - both on top. One of them is almost through. You've been an amazing sport about it and have only had a couple fussy days.

You rolled over for the first time a little over a week ago. You've done it twice now from back-to-tummy. Pretty soon you'll be mobile and Daddy and I will wonder what hit us!

You and Noah have been passing a cold back and forth for about 6 weeks now. It was never like this when Noah was a baby. We've never had a lot of sickness in our family. This hasn't been fun and I'm very ready for it to end. It's hard on everybody when the kids are sick.

Daddy doesn't get home from class til about 9:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays this semester so we spend those evenings at Nana and Papa's. I'm so glad that you and Noah are getting to grow up living close to most of your family. We really miss those who live far away :(

Watching basketball is your second favorite past time these days (playing with your brother is the only thing that tops it). It doesn't matter if the game is live or if we are watching it on tv, you get incredibly excited. You get the giggles and you flap your arms wildly! It is so cute to watch.

Mommy has had this entire week off work. I even took the week off from BSU and haven't done any homework. It has been wonderful to spend so much time with you and Noah! I'm almost done at BSU and then it will be like this all the time! I cannot wait!

You are such a precious blessing to both Daddy and I! We love you with everything we are! Thank you for bringing such joy into our lives!

4 month picture - we were headed to the hospital to wait for baby Paige to be born

The first time you rolled over - you hated it!

Brother giving you a bath. You like bath time :)

Going for a walk, another thing you LOVE to do!
